Getting there

The visit is timed to start at 11 AM to allow for members who want to travel by train to do so at off-peak prices. The nearest station is New Pudsey. . The 09:43 from Todmorden arrives in New Pudsey at 10:29, and a return costs £4.65 with the West Yorkshire Concessionary Pass. From Hebden Bridge at 09:43 or 09:50, the comparable price is £4.15. From the station, the options are a 1.1 mile walk or a taxi (Amber Cars 0113 2022 117) which would be about £6 (depending on the meter reading) for up to 4 passengers.
