This session is for group convenors, members who assist in running groups in other ways, committee members, and any member who is considering volunteering in one of these roles.

- 10:15 Session on using tech tools (Beacon, Website, Forms) for communicating with members.
- Sending personalised messages from Beacon
- Adding group sessions to calendar
- Adding duplicate sessions to calendar
- Adding a web site post after a session - can double as a group report
- Using forms to elicit RSVPs
- 11:00 Refreshment Break
- 11:30 Session on getting groups to work for their members. Talking points are not fixed but may be drawn from the following:
- Sharing success stories and cautionary tales
- Ensuring groups are inclusive.
- Increasing engagement within groups
- Developing future convenors and committee members
- Venues and their suitability for different kinds of sessions
- Review of sections from the Convenors' Handbook
