A day does not pass that we don’t see an alert for a scam or cybercrime in our inbox or on social media. This rapidly changing situation can be very concerning, and so we have asked the Yorkshire & Humber Economic Crime Unit to come and give a talk to our members.
Two officers are coming to give a talk and, most importantly, answer your questions on Monday, the 20th April. The event will be held at the Todmorden Learning Centre and Community Hub (Tod College) from 10 am to 12 am.
The talk will cover the topics below, and anything more you would like to ask:
- Romance/companion fraud
- Impersonation fraud
- Malicious QR codes
- Cyber hygiene
Try not ot miss out on the critically important talk with lots of opportunities to ask your questions of the police.
