That’s a week earlier than normal, as we recognise that, by the 21st, you’ll be far too busy - stuffing your turkeys or stirring your puddings  - to bother with a u3a meeting!

However you won’t want to miss this December meeting as we’ll be welcoming back Roger Browne who was a great success when he talked, played and sang us through The Great American Songbook in February. 

Roger is a long time member of Manchester Jazz and has played with such greats as Humphrey Littleton and George Chisholm, to name but two. However Roger’s musical interests stretch beyond Jazz. His love for Musical Theatre and Grand Opera have seen him on stage for over 40 years in many different acting roles and directorial appointments including singing a principal bass role in Wagner’s “Tannhauser” for Manchester Opera Group.

We look forward to seeing you then, when we are sure to be starting the festive season with a swing!
