The travel recommendation below should allow you time to visit the museum cafe before the tour begins.

Getting There

There is more detail about travel options at the Venue link.

The most practical way to reach the museum is to get the Calder Valley line train to Wigan Wallgate, leaving Hebden Bridge at 10:10 am or 11:10 am and arriving at 10:58 and 11:58 respectively. Todmorden departures are at 17 minutes past the hour, and Mytholmroyd 06 minutes past. From Halifax, you would have to change at Manchester Victoria for Salford Central. Direct trains for the return journey leave at 30 minutes past the hour, and additional services are available, changing at Manchester Victoria.
